Miad Ghazi · Local SEO consulting
Local SEO services.
Help nearby customers find the right business.
People may find your business on Google and still leave without knowing whether you can help. I review your profile, website and contact journey to identify what needs attention.
We work on accurate business information, useful service pages and the searches that matter in your area. No invented locations or promises of a guaranteed place at the top of Maps.
Based in Milan. Working remotely with English-speaking businesses and teams; meetings in Milan by appointment.
Who this is for
One location, several branches or a service area?
Local SEO helps a business address searches connected to a place: a nearby shop, a professional in a particular town or a service delivered at the customer’s property. Google Maps visibility and your website’s organic results are related, but they are not the same channel.
Customers visit your premises
We review how your address, opening hours, services and contact options are presented. A location page should help someone decide whether to visit and explain how to reach you.
You travel to your customers
We start with the areas you genuinely serve and the limits of your operation. You do not need a fictional office in every town to explain where you can work.
Multi-location SEO for real branches
We organize the information and responsibilities for each real branch. Shared templates can help, but each page still needs accurate local details, services and contacts.
Your business operates entirely online
Online-only businesses generally do not qualify for Google Business Profile. We can work on your website without creating an artificial physical presence.
Eligibility needs checking against your actual business model and Google’s business representation guidelines.
For electrical businesses, see SEO for electricians in Ireland: a focused approach to emergency call-outs, planned installations and commercial enquiries, built around the areas you actually serve.
What I work on
Connect your profile, pages and customer journey
Local search review
I examine relevant searches, visible competitors, existing pages and available profiles. The review separates information gaps, content issues and technical obstacles before setting priorities.
Google Business Profile optimization
I review categories, services, hours, contact information and service areas. Proposed changes reflect the real business and are agreed with you. The business name is not a place to add extra keywords.
Service and location pages
We make it clear what you offer, who it suits and where it is available. I recommend a separate location page only when it can provide useful, specific information—not a copy with a different town name.
Reviews and responses
We establish a practical way to ask for genuine feedback and respond thoughtfully. No purchased reviews, incentives or requests restricted to customers expected to leave positive ratings.
Local citations and consistent business details
I review local citations for conflicting business names, addresses and phone numbers (NAP) on relevant sources. Directory listings are assessed for usefulness and relevance, not added simply to reach a target count.
Contact paths and tracking
I check whether phone links, forms and directions are easy to find. Where the data permits, we distinguish profile interactions from actual inquiries, appointments and sales.
Implementation and ongoing profile management depend on the agreed scope. Broader crawling or indexing problems may need a separate technical SEO audit. New copy can be scoped through content marketing services.
What you receive
A practical list of changes, with clear ownership
Findings and priorities
A summary of observed issues, the pages or profiles affected and why each recommendation matters. I distinguish urgent corrections from work that can follow later.
Profile and website recommendations
Depending on the proposal, these may include business-information corrections, page briefs, copy changes and internal-link recommendations. The quote specifies what will be delivered and implemented.
Checks after implementation
I check that the agreed changes were applied. That is separate from measuring their effect on inquiries, which needs suitable data and time to observe.
Access without giving up control
You retain ownership of your profile. If operational access is needed, we agree an appropriate role rather than sharing your account password. Your business contact approves factual and commercial details.
What a Google Business Profile audit hands over
| Initial review | Compare the business name, categories, services, hours and operating area with information approved by the business. |
|---|---|
| Example priority | Website and profile hours conflict: the owner confirms the correct hours, then the sources within scope are updated. |
| Responsibility | Your contact confirms facts. I document the changes and implement them where included; a developer handles template changes when needed. |
| Acceptance check | Check the published business details and record changes still awaiting Google approval. |
| Real branch matrix | For each branch: actual address, opening hours, available services, contact, page URL and owner. An appointment-only branch needs booking instructions; a walk-in branch needs accurate visiting hours. |
One-off corrections or ongoing profile management?
A focused assignment can finish after the audit, agreed corrections and checks. For ongoing Google Business Profile management, we specify which updates are covered: special hours, service changes, branch information and review responses. The proposal records the review frequency and who approves changes.
Where local visibility checks are included, we agree the searches, observation locations and dates. A result seen from one neighbourhood is not a complete view of the service area.
Illustrative example—not a client result
A plumber serves three towns. Does that require three websites?
Start with the service, not the number of towns.
Imagine a plumber with one operating base who travels to nearby towns. The website lists those places and a phone number, but does not explain which jobs the business handles.
First: clarify services, actual coverage, inquiry requirements and how a customer can request a quote. Check that the profile represents a service-area business accurately.
Then: decide whether any town needs a dedicated page. If the information would be identical, improve the existing page. A separate page needs a useful reason to exist.
Finally: review whether inquiries concern services and areas the business can support. Do not assume every phone call came from SEO.
This demonstrates the decision process. It is not a completed project or a claim about results.
Local information and AI search
Make the business understandable, wherever the answer appears
Useful information comes first
Clear service descriptions, contact details, genuine coverage areas and consistent supporting sources help people assess a business. I organize answers to practical customer questions and separate verified facts from promotional claims.
Structured data should describe the visible page. I do not add invented locations, ratings or reviews to make the markup look more complete.
No guaranteed AI recommendations
Google does not require special schema for its AI search features. Its AI search guidance points back to SEO fundamentals and useful, reliable content.
A separate GEO review can investigate how your business is represented in selected AI answers. One observed mention does not establish consistent visibility or prove that a specific change caused it.
Scope, pricing and measurement
Agree the work before changing the profile
- 01
Understand the operation
You share your website, profile if available, real locations, service areas and the kinds of inquiries you want.
- 02
Set priorities
I review the current presence and propose the first changes, with responsibilities, deliverables and access requirements.
- 03
Implement and check
I or your team carry out the agreed work. You confirm business details; a developer handles changes that require technical support.
- 04
Review the evidence
We compare appropriate periods, account for seasonality and business changes, and decide what to improve next.
How much do local SEO services cost?
The quote depends on the number of locations, profile condition, website work and implementation support. An initial review and ongoing management are different engagements. Scope, fees and delivery dates are agreed before work begins.
What counts as progress?
We read available Business Profile and Search Console data alongside business inquiries. A click on a phone link does not prove a conversation happened; a directions request does not confirm a shop visit.
Local results vary with the searcher’s location. Google describes relevance, distance and prominence as key factors in local ranking. No optimization removes the distance factor, and a single ranking screenshot is not a complete performance report.
Before we begin
Questions about working together
Can you help if I do not have a Google Business Profile?
Yes. We first check eligibility and the information needed. Creation, claiming and verification support can be included in the agreed scope. Google controls verification and approval.
Do I need a page for every town I serve?
Not automatically. We assess genuine coverage, search intent and distinctive information. Near-identical pages are not a substitute for explaining your service well.
Can you guarantee a top-three Maps position?
No. Location, competition and other factors affect results. I can commit to agreed work and checks, not a guaranteed ranking or number of customers.
How long does local SEO take?
Correcting information and seeing commercial results are different timelines. After the initial review, we agree an implementation schedule and a suitable point to review the data.
Do you only work with businesses in Milan?
No. I work remotely with English-speaking businesses and teams. Local knowledge comes from your business contact and research into the relevant market; I do not assume every town behaves the same way.
Can you remove negative reviews or restore a suspended profile?
I can assess the situation and identify relevant next steps. Removal and reinstatement are not guaranteed. Any support case is scoped separately, and I do not use false reviews to offset negative feedback.
Your next step
