Strategy, writing and updates
Content work built around your website
This service focuses on website and blog content. Social media management, newsletters and video production are not included. You can commission a defined project or agree ongoing support.
Content audit services and refresh priorities
An SEO content audit compares existing pages, customer questions and available performance data. I identify which pages need clearer answers, updated facts or a different role in the site. The recommendations explain what to keep, improve, consolidate or create, with a reason for each decision. Low traffic alone is not a reason to delete a page.
Content strategy and editorial planning
Map topics and search intent to pages, with an audience, purpose and next step for each. An editorial plan sets priorities and identifies the evidence needed—not just a list of titles and deadlines.
SEO content writing services for websites and blogs
My SEO copywriting work covers service pages, articles and supporting guides in English. I work with your source material and subject specialists to explain the offer accurately, answer relevant questions and keep the voice consistent.
Content refreshes
Update outdated facts, fill meaningful gaps and improve structure and internal links. A refresh should make the page more useful; changing the date or adding words is not enough.
What you receive
A clear plan, briefs and copy ready for review
The proposal specifies the deliverables for your project. A strategy-and-writing engagement can include:
- A prioritized list of pages to create or improve, with the reason for each
- Keyword and topic mapping to reduce avoidable overlap
- Editorial briefs covering the reader, questions, sources and internal links
- Draft copy with suggested SEO titles and descriptions
- Revision notes and publishing guidance for your team
CMS entry, images, ongoing reporting and publication are included only when explicitly agreed.
Your knowledge is part of the work
I need to understand what you do, who you help and where the offer has limits. Product details, customer questions, technical documents and conversations with your team can make the copy more specific and useful.
When a fact or example is missing, I flag it. I don’t invent testimonials, savings, qualifications or customer results to make a draft sound more convincing.
Approval has an owner
Before writing, we agree who supplies information, who checks specialist claims and who approves the final copy. Revision rounds and feedback deadlines are part of the scope.
Illustrative example—not a client result
Turn a customer question into a useful brief
Imagine a company offering industrial machinery maintenance. A prospective customer needs more than a definition of the service: they need to understand whether it fits their equipment and operating conditions.
“When should we plan maintenance rather than wait for a breakdown?”
- Page to consider
- A decision guide linked to the maintenance service page.
- Information to gather
- Equipment supported, inspection scope, operational constraints and examples the technical team can substantiate.
- Questions to answer
- When planned maintenance helps, where it is insufficient, and what information a supplier needs before quoting.
- Next step
- Invite the reader to describe their equipment and needs, without inventing savings or response-time promises.
- Signals to review
- Relevant queries, visits to the service page and suitable inquiries, where tracking allows.
This example demonstrates the method. It is not a completed project or a claim about client results.
From a content audit to an editorial roadmap
| Page and intent | An industrial maintenance guide for a buyer deciding whether to request an assessment. |
|---|---|
| Evidence to gather | Sales questions, relevant search queries and confirmed equipment information. Traffic alone does not establish whether the page is useful. |
| Editorial decision | Refresh the existing guide if the need remains valid. Consider consolidation only where another page serves the same intent and can provide a better destination. |
| Roadmap entry | Maintenance decision guide → refresh existing copy → technical specialist checks facts → marketing approves → link to the service page. |
| Review | Check accuracy, internal links and published output. Review relevant queries and movement towards the service page over the agreed period. |
What a content refresh changes
Before, illustrative copy: “We provide quality maintenance for every need.”
After: “To assess a maintenance plan, tell us the equipment type, operating hours and faults already recorded. A technical specialist checks which inspections fit the machine and its working conditions.”
The revision gives the reader a useful next step. In a real assignment, the business confirms the service scope and technical claims before publication.
Clear information, not formulas
Useful for people searching—and reading AI answers
SEO gives each page a job
Research helps identify how people describe a problem and what they expect from the answer. Clear headings, relevant detail and sensible internal links help them use the page. There is no fixed keyword density or word count that makes content good.
If technical problems prevent pages from being found or rendered, copy changes may not solve them. A technical SEO audit can investigate those issues.
GEO does not require a different voice
Clear definitions, specific examples, named expertise and sources placed near the claims they support make information easier to assess. I use these where they help readers, not to force artificial chunks into every paragraph.
Google requires no special AI files or schema for its AI search features. Read Google’s guidance. If you need to investigate how your business appears in AI answers, that is a separately scoped GEO review.
Content work cannot guarantee indexing, rankings, AI citations or sales. For country-specific research and language planning, see international SEO consulting.
How we work
Understand the business before writing the page
- 01
Gather the context
We discuss the offer, customers, existing pages and available materials. Specialist topics need a reviewer who knows the subject.
- 02
Agree priorities
I review search intent and existing coverage, then propose the first pages or updates and the briefs needed to guide them.
- 03
Write and review
I prepare the copy, flag open questions and work through the agreed revisions. You approve facts, commercial details and tone.
- 04
Publish and improve
The agreed publisher receives the materials. If monitoring is included, we review available data and decide what to improve next.
How the work is priced
The quote reflects research, subject complexity, formats, expert input and revisions. CMS work, visuals and reporting are specified separately. We agree delivery dates around access to materials and approvals.
How we judge progress
Publishing is a deliverable, not a business outcome. Where data is available, we review relevant queries, movement towards service pages and the quality of inquiries. An article is not automatically responsible for every change in sales.

Before we begin
Questions about working on your content
Can I commission just the strategy or just the writing?
Yes. If you already have a useful editorial direction, we can focus on copy. If not, research and priorities can come first. We check that the audience, objectives and source material are clear enough before starting.
Do you update existing articles and service pages?
Yes. I assess what remains useful, what is outdated and which questions are missing. Updates do not automatically require a complete rewrite or a new URL.
How many articles should we publish each month?
There is no fixed number that suits every business. The volume depends on relevant questions, existing coverage and your capacity to supply and review accurate information. Sometimes updating one important page is the right first task.
Is WordPress publishing included?
Only if it is specified in the proposal. We agree whether delivery covers copy alone or CMS entry, preview checks and publication support. Your designated approver controls what is published.
Do you use AI tools?
Any use of AI tools and confidentiality requirements are agreed for the project. Facts, sources and company information still need checking. Generated text is not evidence, and sensitive business material should not be shared with a tool without authorization.
Does the service include social posts, newsletters or video?
No. This offer covers strategy, writing and updates for English-language websites and blogs. Other channels are not implicitly included.
What should I send before our first conversation?
Your website address, a short description of your offer and the content problem you want to solve. Existing briefs or examples of your preferred tone are useful. We can arrange access and specialist materials later.
A practical next step
Which pages need attention?
Tell me what you want to explain better, who you want to reach and who handles the content today. We’ll discuss whether to start with a plan, new copy or an update.
Scope, deliverables and fee agreed before work begins.
